Susan has the innate ability to take a client’s vision and turn it into reality. Her natural gift for space planning, eye for detail, conscientiousness, and impeccable quality standards pervade every design project she engages in.
She loves to cook, entertain, and travel, and uses these passions to bring the latest techniques and ideas to her clients. She goes above and beyond the call of duty for customers and colleagues to build rapport and respect. Her charisma and warm personality quickly makes friends of clients.
Susan’s expertise in kitchen, bathroom, and home remodeling has been recognized by outstanding achievements in her field and numerous awards. She has a degree in Interior Design and is a lifetime student of art.

STEFANY TAYLOR KRUPKE – “THE INVENTOR”
Stefany has always harbored a love for transforming spaces. From acting as her father’s assistant on his home remodeling projects as a young child to owning a faux finishing business, to eventually returning to school for her kitchen & bath degree, the creative spark to create, transform and re-imagine has always been there.
In her current role as a Kitchen & Bath Designer, Stefany’s joy in meeting new people, solving design challenges, and putting designs to paper is evident in every interaction.
With an infectious, positive attitude, and a talent for uncovering unique design solutions, Stefany brings forth creative and well-planned solutions, always falling back on her dad’s age-old advice:
‘If you’re going to do something, do it well and do it right.’
Stefany joined Sawhill in May of 2018, having worked for another design firm after graduating from design school. We are excited to have her at Sawhill, as she brings to the team a unique combination of fresh perspective and cultivated experience along with a down-to-earth integrity that aligns with what Sawhill is all about.
EDWIN FIGUEROA – “THE COMPOSER”
At the heart of his talent lies the innate ability to seamlessly orchestrate the mixing of styles, materials, and textures, along with structural and mechanical systems, into a finished piece that indulges all of your senses.
Edwin successfully marries various art and science disciplines that comprise successful architectural projects. His passion for cooking, world travel and cultural studies, combined with deep industry knowledge, allow him to curate each and every project with a clean slate, focused only on what will best improve the client’s lifestyle.
His personal design tenets:

Edwin is a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer with the National Kitchen and Bath Association. He worked in the Greater Los Angeles area for 18 years before moving to Minnesota. He believes his design work is positively impacted and enhanced by his love of other cultures and people.
He sees kitchen design as “an opportunity to create a cohesive environment for family and friends to come together”.
TIM ADEN – “THE PRODUCER”
36 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Tim is the glue that holds every Sawhill Custom Kitchens & Design project together. Tim’s experience as a carpenter, project coordinator, and kitchen and bath designer has afforded him the tools necessary to coordinate all aspects of a client’s project.
From broad design plans to the smallest detail, he ensures that every Sawhill finished product is absolutely perfect. His vast knowledge of the industry, business sense, and personal integrity win industry and client respect time and again.
His good-natured personality, easygoing style, and sense of humor make him a pleasure to work with.
