Favorite part about my job:

My favorite part of designing is seeing my clients happy when their project is
completed, knowing that I helped transform a space that will impact how they live and enjoy their home.

Life passions:

I am passionate about architecture. Ask me about a well-known structure and I more than
likely will know the architect who designed it.

My proudest accomplishment:

Aside from raising my daughter, my proudest accomplishment is going
back to school later in life, for my undergraduate degree in Interior Design. I was a single mother, and
cleaned houses to put my way through school, earning my degree with academic honors.

Biggest Inspiration:

My biggest inspiration professionally is Frank Llyod Wright. While his work is known
by most people, what I find remarkable about him was his amazing talent shown through his creative
vision for various projects. I admire how he tried new materials that had never been used in construction,
took risks with his work, and wasn’t afraid to change his style over the years.

Most likely to find me:

You will most likely find me working on house projects, or in my yard gardening.

Favorite travel destination:

My favorite travel destination is skiing in Lake Tahoe. I find it is amazing to ski down
a mountain with a view of the beautiful lake on a clear sunny day, which we refer to as a ‘ Blue Bird
Day’ in California.  The Sierra Mountains as a backdrop to Lake Tahoe is truly breath taking.

Hidden talent or hobby:

I am pretty handy and am not afraid to try anything. I’ve done my share of
woodworking, and actually made my eye doctors reception desk for her office in Woodinville Washington.
The project was for my furniture construction and design class, which involved everything from the initial
detail drawings, planing cherry boards, and rabbiting in a 3Form acrylic panel with birch inlay.
