Favorite part about my job:
This industry is dynamic. Each day presents new challenges and experiences; no day is like the last one.
I enjoy the thrill of not knowing exactly what will be thrown at me today. Projects are well planned and
strategic, yet each space/house, client, design, etc. is unique. There is a level of surprise hiding in each
one.
Ultimately, seeing a vision and a plan come together and getting to be a part of building something
beautiful for the client, that is the cherry on top!
Life passions:
Traveling and visiting new places with my wife, Amanda. We’ve had the opportunity to visit a lot of cool
places, Iceland, Bulgaria, and Costa Rica to name a few. Although, it’s less about the destination and
more about the experience and memories we have made through all our travels together. I believe in the
“It’s not where you go, it’s who you travel with.”
My proudest accomplishment:
I made a hole-in-one when I was 12 years old. I’ve hit a lot of golf balls since and I’m still chasing after
another one!
Biggest Inspiration:
My big sister, Annie. She has an unwavering determination and when she sets her mind on something, it
WILL happen. She reminds me to push hard when things get tough, it will all work out in the end.
Most likely to find me:
Playing some kind of sport. If it’s not snowing, I’ll be on the golf course! I'm a bit of a sports fanatic and I
enjoy a good old competition of any kind.
Favorite travel destination:
That is a tough one because I love traveling and seeing new places. If I must choose, it’s a coinflip
between Maui and Costa Rica. Anywhere warm in January will do though!
Hidden talent or hobby:
I have a collection of vintage hats. I’m not exactly sure how it happened but I have over 100, easily. My
favorite one, as of right now, is a 1980’s era Pebble Beach Golf Links snapback. The logo is just a simple
design with the lone cypress tree and rolling hills but there is something nostalgic about it. I love
investigating the details about each one, and in the process, learning about something I never would have
dug into otherwise.
